After serving 20 years as a United States Marine Corps Infantry Officer and traveling to numerous countries throughout the world, I fully recognize the critical importance of ensuring our children receive the highest quality education that is humanly possible. As a successful middle school and high school principal, I know from experience that when students are held to high expectations for both academic excellence and appropriate civil behavior, they will rise to that high standard.
