Yvette East is apart of the Responsive Education family. She has 20 years of educational experience in the area of the Superintendency, Principal, and teacher. Sharing experiences from the traditional ISD’s as well as the Charter world, she ensures that her schools follow a rigorous mission- driven framework for success at every level. Under her leadership, she turned an unacceptable district to and an exemplary one that served a 99 percent economically disadvantaged population. She has developed key support services that focuses on continuous improvement, strategic reform, and school accountability. She has served on TEPSA and TCSA boards as well presented in numerous educational conferences.
